Sia曾经由于止痛药和抗抑郁药的滥用被诊断出有双重人格，Elastic Heart的MV中两个演员其实代表的就是Sia所谓的两种人格。他们曾经都在牢笼里挣扎，当后来一方解脱，走向了更广阔的世界，她的另一重人格却最终困在了牢笼中。
MV是对Sia自身的解读。不是自闭症父亲，不是恋童癖。
